Sold original artwork by Georgia Stevens.
Essence of Protea is an expressive abstract interpretation of the Australian protea, created through sweeping layers of rich greens, vivid pinks, earthy tones and luminous gold. Rather than depicting the flower literally, the work captures its energy, form and movement through layered colour and texture.
The gold details catch the light across the highly textured surface, bringing warmth and depth to the piece and allowing different elements to emerge as the light changes.
