Dancing in Madrid was inspired by a lively moment in Madrid’s El Retiro Park, where strangers danced together beneath the trees. Their movement, colour and energy seemed to intertwine, with individual auras blurring into one vibrant, living rhythm.
The painting translates that memory through layered colour, movement and texture rather than literal representation. Bright reds, greens, pinks, turquoise and gold-like accents move across the canvas in a celebration of connection, joy and the beautiful chaos of being alive together.
